IQ Shield LiQuidSkin Review

                   

I've tried the Zagg shields which if not applied right can become very sticky or dust particles will stick to it. I've also tried generic brands which aren't bad but are a little more difficult to install. Both of those products seem just fine for a week or two and then they start to peel off, or start to yellow in the corners. On a few occasions I would have bubbles which I would just smooth out until the bubbles reappear again. Every time it's the side of the phone near the microphone, it slowly starts to peel and then dust accumulates under the skin and it just gets worse from there. It is hard to clean off dust once it gets trapped on the sticky side.  Usually the front and backs will stay on, but even then I've found both generic screen protectors and Zagg to be a little difficult to get on without dust or bubbles creeping in. I was given a great opportunity to review IQ Shield LiQuidSkin. This product is what full body skins should be. It's the easiest to put on and after a few weeks it's still holding strong. The very ends of the skin on the sides of the body are finally starting to show signs of peeling but it's nowhere near as bad as the other products. I say a few weeks for under a few dollars is completely worth it. If you are frustrated by the poor sticking power of other skins, definitely give IQ Shield LiQuidSkin a shot. You will definitely extend the life of your phone significantly with this product. I'm going to keep buying IQ Shield for all my future electronic devices. iPad Air 2 360° Rotatable Keyboard Case, Snugg™ Review

This will be my most heartfelt review I have ever written. You will feel my emotions with this one. So in September I purchased an iPad Air 2 for myself as a birthday gift. Now automatically I threw it in an otter box case to never be removed from it…ever. One day at work my coworker wanted to share a keyboard that she purchased for her iPad. 

I thought to myself, hmmm that is a pretty cool case to have. So off to Amazon I went to search for the best keyboard case they have to offer. My first search was the Zagg heavy duty case, in my head since I’m already familiar with the brand; I thought this would be a good buy. It was a bit pricey, so I added this to my wish list. 

The second search brought up a case by Snugg, now they did offer pretty cute colors and pretty much had all the features that I was looking for in a case, but wasn’t really ready to make a buy yet, for fear that I never want my iPad to leave the safety of her Otter box. So one day I was given the opportunity to test a do a product review on the item. Oh boy, did I sure jump for joy! So as I patiently waited for her to arrive, I could not wait to rip this otter box case off..lol Now mind you I have literally only had the case for 24 hours (12/11/15) and I’m really that excited to even write my review early, but will test more and add to it.  

So far I totally looooove my case. The case does add a bit of weight to it, and the material of the case feels really satin smooth. If your fingers are oily or greasy, they will show up on this case. I’m not sure how fast it will get dirty with this material, but I will keep my eye on it. The 180 swivel action has me in a tizzy, I totally love it. Be careful though, when you are swiveling it at an uneven angle it will rub against your keyboard. Another feature that is pretty cool is there is a built in stylus. The case seems to be pretty sturdy and I’m pretty careful with it. It actually looks like a mini laptop. 

The keyboard keys are plastic, but feel pretty sturdy and are easy to use and type with. The keyboard does not light up, which is really not a problem for me. The case holds my iPad pretty well so you will not have to worry about the swivel giving out or if you have it propped up for movie watching, it will not fall closed. I’m still working on the FN (function) keys, there is a home button, but so far it just takes you to the folder you last opened instead of the home screen, which is not a deal breaker in my opinion. I’m a paralegal student so I carry my iPad with me everywhere. I just have to remember that it is in my backpack, not built like an otter box, but you want to make sure not to damage it in any way. The case does come with a lifetime warranty, which I find pretty neat. I will read up more on it to see what the benefits of the warranty are. But so far after day 2 I’m already in love with the case.

I will wait a few weeks before I post this review. I want to test some more so that I can add my pro and cons. I received this item at a great discount in exchange for my honest opinion.

Pros

·         The case protects the ipad when not in use

·         The swivel holds the screen up like a laptop, so you are able to watch movies

·         The keyboard is well built, feels like they will last a good while.

Cons

·         The case shows fingerprints, not really a deal breaker, but the way the case was made, you will see every fingerprint the touches the case.

·         The ipad is hard to take out, even with the easy to follow instructions. Again not a deal breaker, hard to take out just means that it will not easily fall out. The ipad will securely stay within the case. 

 

 If you plan on purchasing this case, then I suggest you do it. You definitely will not regret it. It is most definitely the best buy you will make. For added protection you can throw a screen protector on the screen. Really a great buy and well worth every penny. Again, I received this item at a great discount in exchange for my honest opinion.
